The oil painting “San Giovanni Battista,” painted by Leonardo da Vinci between 1508 and 1513, measuring 69×57 cm, is the starting point of the homonymous work carried out and photographed by the Brazilian artist Gê Orthof more than 500 years later. There are six images of the same size as Leonardo’s painting.
